"Made in Mass" interview with Doug Meehan

WCVB CHANNEL 5 INTERVIEW - DOUG MEEHAN EMAILED ME!

After winning the grand prize and titled as, "The Next Top Maker" from Makesy in 2021 I got an email from Doug Meehan himself. How cool! Doug Meehan learned about my small business and asked if he could interview me, I was in shock. Who me? We set a date for the interview and Doug and his film crew stopped by my studio to chat about my small business, Vibes Candles. 

MADE IN MASS

WCVB Channel 5 Boston has a segment called, "Made in Mass". Doug Meehan travels throughout Massachusetts visiting local companies that are making creative, new and classic products here in the Bay State. Vibes Candles is one of those companies.

Doug and his film crew came to my studio and we chatted for a few hours. I showed him all that I do for Vibes Candles, told my story on why I started Vibes Candles and the reason why. I was so excited to share my story because I knew that others can relate, Doug did an amazing job asking all the right questions.  It was probably the most fun interview I have done to date. Doug was extremely easy to talk to and told my story beautifully.

"The local candlemaker says she is trying to help others find light in the darkest days as she struggled with depression during a difficult period."

AFTER THE INTERVIEW, THANK YOU!

After the interview we were just hanging out and chatting about life and afterwards I of course had to document my day with a selfie. Overall, this was the coolest experience and it was even cooler to watch on tv. It aired in May 24, 2021 and I will never forget it. Thank you Doug Meehan and WCVB Channel 5 Boston for such a fun day and interview. This day will forever be remembered!
